Hummingbirds migrate for the winter. Perhaps when we hear the word migrate, we think of a flock of birds traveling together. But the tough little hummingbird makes this journey solo, quite an amazing feat. In a bittersweet farewell, we look forward to their enchanted return in the warm season to open our hearts. Carved from onyx, inlaid with turquoise eyes and an iridescent mother-of-pearl beak, Brandon Phillips' mighty bird is approximately 2 1/2" tall, 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" deep. Plumage is trimmed with little etching marks.
