A huge flock of talkative crows fly by heading to their nightly roosting place and catching the attention of Gabriel Sice's upright Bear. Pen shell eyes enjoy the spectacle, tiny ears love the chatter and a little nose sniffs the gentle breeze. An offering necklace is inlaid with colorful red coral and turquoise, while clawed paws are etched and accented with jet. For the A:Shiwi (Zuni), standing bears represent strength. About 2 5/8" tall, 1" wide and 3/4" deep, carved from burnished antler.
