An important religious katsina ceremony takes place once a year at Zuni Pueblo in which Shalako makes an appearance. A beloved messenger from the Rain Gods, Shalako stands ten feet tall. Ronnie Cachini has hand-painted with colorful acrylic paints on sandstone, a depiction of this ceremony. It is resting permanently on a base of azurite with wood. About 2 1/2" tall, 3 1/4" long and 1 1/4" deep, measurements include wood base. Signed by the artist. Extra shipping charges may apply.
