Gabriel Sice's standing Bear is carved from Petoskey stone, the state mineral of Michigan. Petoskey stones are fossilized colonial corals from the Devonian period. In the wild, bears journey setting an example for us to get up, get out and enjoy precious life like this approximately 1 3/4" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 7/8" deep happy bear is doing. Eyes and a lovely offering necklace are from turquoise inlays.
