A sweetly etched carapace is inlaid with lovely turquoise raindrops on Lorandina Sheche's Turtle carved from found stone. Turtles have a rain association in Zuni where their shells are prized for making rattles used by the Rain Dancers. Turquoise eyes and a curved beak are additional features of this approximately 2 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 7/8" tall friend.
