Unakite is a lovely metamorphic rock in the granite family composed of pink feldspar, green epidote and clear quartz. Its name is derived from the Unaka Mountain range in Tennessee where it was first identified. It's now found all over the world. Stewart Quandelacy's Medicine-Bear is sculpted from unakite to a dimension of roughly 2 3/8" long, 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Woodland eyes filled with quiet wisdom and an alternating heartline or breath path are from colorful turquoise inlays.
