Quail Family

Under a low-lying sagebrush canopy, a sweet quail family searches for small tasty insects. Quails are a gardener's best friend because they naturally maintain the pest population. These serene crested birds are a member of the pheasant family. They've been adorably carved from one specimen of marble and inlaid with sky-blue turquoise eyes by Fabian Tsethlikai. Quail are beautiful to watch because they walk so elegantly and bring a sense of peace to surroundings. About 2 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 7/8" tall.
