Representing unity and protection, an iridescent smoky mother-of-pearl shell has been brilliantly carved into a powerful Medicine-bear with jet inlaid eyes, accompanied by three feathered Corn-Maiden sisters. Dancing Dragonflies dwell among etched stars and corn as day turns into night. The Maiden's faces are from overlaid gold lip shell, incised and filled with ground jet paste. Corn adorns their bodies including pretty coral, turquoise, alunite, pipestone and variscite inlays. About 4 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 4 1/4" tall, by Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez.
