Horse has been carved from pinolith stone. Named for the appearance of lovely magnesite inclusions that look like pine kernels, this rare semi-precious material found in Austria, Spain and Canada is said to hold healing properties. A Zuni Sunface symbol which represents the elements in balance is beautifully set stone to stone with happy turquoise, coral, rich lapis, iridescent mother-of-pearl and bold jet. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 3" long, 5/8" wide and 2 5/8" tall.
