Quietly pecking for small tasty insects on the low-lying sagebrush trail, Fabian Tsethlikai's sweet quail helps keep the pest population under control. This crested bird, a member of the pheasant family, has been adorably carved from picture jasper and has alert eyes of inlaid turquoise. Quail are beautiful to watch because they walk so elegantly. About 1 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide and 2" tall.
