Now that summer's grasshoppers have gone to sleep, Jonas Hustito's foraging scaled quail will peck at autumn's insects like ants and beetles. Native plants and forbs are also on the menu for this approximately 1 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall top-knot friend sculpted from Picasso marble. Focused eyes are from sky blue turquoise inlays and an assortment of clean incising marks result in lovely plumage.
