Stewart Quandelacy's late mother Ellen Quandelacy had special talents that included making wonderful inlay jewelry and carving animals like equines that are still popular today. They are hard to find yet easy to identify thanks to her singular style. Only after she passed in 2002 did her children begin carving horses. Soothing sunset hues take their place in a lovely specimen of tidgilite that Stewart sculpted into a gentle Horse that's about 3 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall. Eyes that let you feel at ease are from turquoise inlays, while a relaxed swing of the tail is that of a contented equine friend.
