Animal: Eagle, Material: Limestone
This offering is sold.

K’yak’yali or Eagle is the highest flying bird nearest to the Creator. In Zuni tradition, a revered eagle is included in the Six-Directions animal grouping. Eagle is considered big brother to Hawk. Lorandina Sheche's smoothly sculpted limestone raptor has far-seeing eyes from turquoise inlays. A round turquoise stone is inlaid on one side. An elegantly presented iridescent abalone point offering is secured to the tail feather region of this approximately 3 1/4" long, 7/8" wide and 2" tall collectible feathered friend. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
