K’yak’yali or Eagle is the highest flying bird nearest to the Creator. In Zuni tradition, a revered eagle is included in the Six-Directions animal grouping. Eagle is considered big brother to Hawk. Lorandina Sheche's smoothly sculpted limestone raptor has far-seeing eyes from turquoise inlays. A round turquoise stone is inlaid on one side.
