An old-style Hawk (or Eagle) summons a sense of deep connection to the cosmos, ancestors and the natural forces of Mother Earth. Essentially carved from found stone originating from the sacred lands at Cochiti Pueblo, the raptor with incised tails feathers rests on an oversized chert arrow point adorned with a scrumptious strand of seafoam green-hued turquoise beads. Artist Salvador Romero says "The stone has the animal in it. I just find it." About 4 7/8" long, 1 3/8" wide and 2" tall.
