An old-style Eagle (or Hawk) is essentially carved from a found stone originating off the lands at Cochiti Pueblo. Artist Salvador Romero says "The stone has the animal in it. I just find it." The raptor rests on a chert point accompanied by iridescent shell, coral and turquoise beads. About 5" long, 1 5/8" wide and 2 1/2" tall. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
