Zuni artist Brian Yatsattie's powerfully-beaked Raven poses in profile as it stretches magnificently detailed plumage. He understands how the smallest of details contribute to the impact and realism of the bird's presence. Every surface of the jet specimen has been artistically attended to, from the mighty talons to the wedge-shaped tail feathers. Searching eyes are from perhaps turquoise or chrysocolla inlays.
