Rabbits have long ears that can move independently, enabling them to hear in two directions at once. They also aide in thermoregulation as the large surface areas help them release heat and keep cool in warmer climates. Daphne and Leland Boone's ultra precious cottontail has a super-set of long ears and eyes from inlaid turquoise. It's been carved from an attractive dolomite. About 3" tall, 1" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
