In 1985, Zuni artists Georgette and Reynold Lunasee started carving together. Her first carving was a Frog, while his was a Bear. Georgette sculpted a cheery little ladybug from apple coral and jet, accented with both turquoise and jet inlays. Reynold did the sanding and buffing. Happily eating aphids off a gorgeous chrysocolla leaf, measurements of the beetle and plant organ are about 2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1/2" tall.
