Salvador Romero brings us a journeying Bear pair carved from two distinct porous found stones from Cochiti Pueblo lands. One of the bears is fashioned from a subtle rose-hued stone while the other displays a soft olive color. A bit of desert varnish exists on one of the bears, which is a natural incrustation or textural layer formed from microscopic organisms and cemented clay particles found on many stones and boulders throughout the great Southwest. About 3" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
