Perched way up on my shelf for the last 30 years, I forgot what a lot of personality this bird has. Its head is turned to the left as if it has happily spotted something. Minimally carved from a beautiful piece of turquoise with golden matrix, it’s kind of perfect. This bird measures about 2 1/4" long and 1 1/4" tall and was created by an unknown carver.
