Golden Hills Turquoise Earrings

The Altyn Tyube mine in Kazakhstan in Central Asia about 200 miles south of the Russian border, yields Kazakhstan Turquoise or Golden Hills Turquoise. The turquoise deposit was found in 2013 giving up stones with a highly-desirable light blue hue to them. They're the featured stones in Nelson Yatsattie's handmade sterling silver earrings, for pierced ears. Dimensions of these rare beauties are approximately 7/8" long and 5/8" wide. Signed by the artist who is also a wonderful carver of animals.
