Lionel Sanchez's Frog is carved from a gorgeous found stone following his family's tradition of walking the landscape in search of animals within stone. He recognized this water-loving amphibian, took it home and with a little carving and sanding, turned the conglomerate stone into a wonderful water creature with raised eyes. Conglomerate stones are Mother Earth's geological fruitcakes combining an assortment of scrumptious minerals baked over deep time to perfection. About 2 7/8" long, 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
