Gifted Zuni artist Frank Nieto bridges the spiritual world of a feathered Zuni Sunface symbol, wise Eagles, a beneficial raincloud and ripe corn to bestow harmony and prosperity to any space. The rich corn crop and the turquoise-eyed raptors are happy because blessings shine forth from the sacred Sunface. The magnificent designs are achieved through beautifully-executed relief carving. The wing-spread eagle takes flight from the background where clever undercuts achieve an almost separate effect from the surface. Dimensions of this extraordinary piece with depth and visual flow are about 14" long, 9 1/2" wide and 2" tall. It feels wonderful to touch. An approximately 3/4" deep hole is provided on the backside to facilitate displaying. This dimensional work of art weighs a generous 8 pounds. Signed by the artist.
