Badger is close to its underground home which can be around 10 feet deep. Huge front claws and paws provide tremendous digging power. Nelson Yatsattie's earth-hugging friend is carved from black lip mother-of-pearl shell. Eyes from turquoise are tenaciously focused. Nelson made wonderful use of the shell's natural ombre colors. About 4" long, 3 5/8" wide and 5/8" tall.
