Dragonfly is considered the messenger between worlds. It starts life off as a larva in water then later emerges to live in the air, which gives the water creature barrier-crossing abilities. Cheryl Beyuka's iridescent gold lip shell dragonfly is inlaid with colorful turquoise, apple coral and pen shell pieces. About 2 1/4" long, 2 3/8" wide and 1/4" tall.
