Kenric Laiwakete's vermillion marble Medicine-Bear has stunning heartline features starting at the mouth leading to the heart region, representing the breath or spirit of the animal within the stone. One side has a colorful alternating heartline from turquoise and apple coral, while the reverse has a striking triple one from turquoise said to represent his children. An aspect of bear medicine is about returning home. It is believed they journey to the same home range to rest in torpor year after year. Elegantly shaped at roughly 2 1/2" long, 2 1/2" tall and 1/2" deep.
