Desert Rainbow

A rainbow is not just a half circle or an arch, it is actually a full circle. The only way to see this is from up in the air. This is because the horizon blocks our view of the other half of the rainbow when we are on the ground. Magnificent rainbows can occur anywhere there is moisture in the air and sunlight in the sky. In an arid desert, you can often see a gorgeous rainbow without ever feeling a drop of water on the ground. Peter Sohappy's reversible rainbow is carved from a found stone and adorned with lovely pink mussel shell, abalone and soft leather accents. About 2 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" wide and 3/4" deep.
