A precious duckling enjoys swimming and darting in the water, carved from septarian nodule by James Panteah. Darling eyes are from bright blue turquoise inlays. Water fowl like ducks are esteemed in Zuni because not only do they swim in water, but they walk on land and fly in the air. Ducks improve soil fertility. About 1 3/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1" tall.
