With a long tail up and over the backside, an old-style
Mountain-lion (puma, cougar or panther) evokes thoughts of long ago times. We're admiring master carver Melvin Sandoval's artistry which blesses this feline with a quite, crouching presence. He has no formal art training but learned on his own by studying books and at first, working only with hand tools. By the way, this dolomite specimen is glorious. About 4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
