Weed-Eater Goat

Bryston Bowannie is the carver who created this wonderful turquoise-eyed goat from travertine. He comes from the greater Natewa, Dallas Quam (d) and Panteah extended families of Zuni Pueblo artists. His brother is carver Calvert Bowannie. Goats are smart animals that can climb almost anywhere. Goats are great companions and natural weed eaters. With a great set of horns, this cool goat is about 2 3/4" long, 1" wide and 2 5/8" tall.
