High school sweethearts Nancy and Sheldon Westika have been hand-making jewelry together for over 50 years. Their collaborative sterling silver, iridescent black lip shell, colorful turquoise and bold jet belt buckle is skillfully set in the channel inlay technique. The artists fabricate silver channels then meticulously cut and fit the materials to precisely rest in the silver compartments. The materials are ground flush and polished with the silver, creating a smooth harmonious surface. The slightly convex belt buckle is about 1 5/8" long as worn from top to bottom. It's 2 5/8" wide.
