Centipede & Wasp Friends

By Derrick Kaamasee

This offering is sold.
An awesome segmented centipede quickly arrives on scene to get its share of a meal that a lovely wasp is already consuming. Both centipedes and wasps are predatory animals serving an important role in the environment. Wasps are crucial pollinators of crops and flowers, while both wasps and centipedes help keep a garden healthy by eating unwelcome pests. Derrick Kaamasee's fabulous insect duo has been masterfully carved from one refreshing apple coral specimen. Intricate details such as antennae, membraned wings and turquoise eyes are seen on the wasp, while centipede friend has great tergite sections and an abundance of legs. About 4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
