Hawk too gorgeous for words has been brought out of a stunning Biggs Blue jasper specimen, by Christopher Sandoval. With varying shades of rich brown and tan, this amazing material, valued as a gem stone, was first discovered around 1960 near Biggs Junction, Oregon. It formed as mud from volcanic ash that was deposited on a basalt terrain long, long ago. This collectible raptor has piercing eyes of inlaid turquoise and gold lip shell. About 2 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
