Joleen Tsethlikai's adorable Picasso marble Bear is out foraging on a crisp fall day. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. Black bears in New Mexico eat nutrient-rich piñon nuts in the fall season including acorns and juniper berries. Protected lands are key to maintaining healthy animal and plant populations. Mammals like black bears require large, connected forests. About 2 1/2" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
