Some Pueblo cultures view badgers as a relatives who emerged with humans, like brothers and sisters. We have a responsibility to care for and protect creation as one would care for a relative. Douglas Martza's low to the ground Badger has been carved from onyx and intricately etched for wonderful classic fur detail. Eyes are focused, from turquoise inlays. An offering bundle contains an elegant mother-of-pearl point with melon shell, red coral and turquoise beads. About 2 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1" tall.
