Traditional dances giving thanks for the season's bounty are underway. Daryl Shack, Sr.'s Maiden participates wearing a traditional headdress called a tablita. Facial features, a lovely necklace and headdress inlays are from various colors of sparkling cultured opal inlays. She stands in power, confidence and knowledge of her sacred Zuni heritage at about 5 1/2" tall, 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep, sculpted from a gorgeous ricolite.
