Hovering over a pueblo landscape, Melvin Sandoval's
Dragonfly is carved from an engaging piece of serpentine with varying hues of happy green. Bulbous eyes tell this winged insect where to go and it will adjust wing motion to conserve energy. The double-winged form of a dragonfly is sometimes referred to as the “Pueblo Cross.” About 3 1/2" long, 2 5/8" wide and 3/8" tall.
