Crow Mother Katsina appears during traditional Hopi Pueblo initiation ceremonies. Adrian Leon's exquisitely carved and detailed Crow Mother Katsina doll is about 2 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" wide and 1" deep including the base. Sculpted cottonwood is colorfully embellished with acrylic paints, pipe cleaner, feathers, leather, embroidery thread and small wooden sticks. Signed by the artist.
