Bryson Bobelu's wonderful corn maiden is carved of Zuni travertine, inlaid with many turquoise pieces to indicate corn kernels. One of those kernels is inlaid with shell. This corn maiden wears a traditional headdress overlaid with turquoise and red coral. Her eyes are of inlaid turquoise and her mouth is indicated by a drilled hole. About 2 3/8" tall, 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" deep, carved in a leaning stance.
