For the A:Shiwi (The People) Sha'lak'o is sacred spiritual being. Once a year an important religious ceremony takes place in which Sha'lak'o who is a messenger from the Rain Gods makes an appearance. A full moon rises in a starry Zuni sky as Sha'lak'o blesses with his presence in Brion Soseeah's miniature original acrylic painting titled "Zuni Shalako". The signed by the artist canvas itself is about 3" by 2", while the small wooden easel is approximately 4 3/4" tall, 2 7/8" wide and 3 3/8" deep. A wonderful 2-piece set that's easy to display.
