This offering is sold.
A small work of art is this Zuni Pueblo girl excellently carved of antler by Ray Tsalate. A traditional hairstyle is incised precisely, and her whorls are accented with lapis inlays. She wears a little necklace of scrumptious turquoise beads. Peaceful eyes are inlaid with pen shell and her mouth is of red coral. Moccasins are burnt out for lovely detail, and are inlaid with colorful malachite additions. Sections of red coral and pen shell decorate her shawl. She can be presented on either foot. About 2 1/2" tall, 2" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
