Vivacious Jaybird

Jays are vivacious birds related to crows. Super smart, a jaybird family will team up to keep other birds away from "their" feeders. Justin Red Elk's perched jaybird does so happily at approximately 2 1/4" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" long. Intelligent eyes, nose and tail feathers are from jet inlays. A shell beak is the icing on the cake. This wonderful feathered friend is carved from pipestone which is basically fossilized clay.
