Chad Quandelacy's captivating two-sided carvings depicts two corn maidens carved from one fabulous specimen of turquoise. Each maiden is wearing a tablita headdress and have accents of inlaid jet, turquoise and coral along the body. Also present are a lady bug of coral and jet opposite a smaller child corn figure with inlaid coral and turquoise pieces. Together they wear a shawl decorated with incised figures of stars and Dragonflies that have been darkened with jet paste. They measure about 1" wide by 3/4" deep and stand at a petite 2" tall.
