Bats are the only mammals that can continually fly. When they are ready to rest or sleep, they hang upside down. Once they let go, they immediately fly. It's not easy for them to take off from ground level like birds do. Bats are important pollinators. Rochelle Quam's super cool Bat is carved from jet with silver inlaid eyes. It has wonderful wing membrane details and little drilled nostrils. About 1 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
