Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez brings us an exceptional trio of corn maidens with two of them wearing traditional tablita headdresses. They are adorned with necklaces of inlaid jet. Carved from one fascinating specimen of black lip shell with luminous mother-of-pearl overlaid faces. The Dragonfly motif is carved on the shawls and tablitas' of these magnificent women. The carving measures about  5 1/8" long, 4" tall, and slightly convex.
