Three aerial acrobats delicately hover over a single flower to share a meal. Expertly carved from separate pieces of antler and assembled by Zuni Pueblo artist Robert Michael Weahkee. The nectar providing flower is made from the crown section of an antler shed and is accented with inlaid stones of red coral, lapis and turquoise, matching to the inlaid eyes of each birds. The gathered Hummingbirds are carved with incised and burnished details along the body. Each bird is honored with a beautiful necklace of aquamarine, lepidolite, coral, lapis and turquoise. The piece stands about 5" tall, 3 5/8" wide by 3 3/4" deep.
