Coyote (
Wolf or
Fox) with turquoise eyes was treated with the sgraffito technique of ornamentation to create a nice two-tone effect. Turquoise inlays also adorn some of the etched areas. A lovely turquoise heartline wraps around this talking canine. We'd be in big trouble without coyotes who are essential in maintaining biodiversity by controlling populations of other wildlife species. Through a wide range of vocalizations, coyotes communicate many important messages. Measurements are about 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/2" wide and 1/2" deep.
