Reversible Thunderbird Mosaic Pendant

By Isaac Coriz, Kewa (Santo Domingo)

This offering is sold.
Isaac Coriz's traditional thunderbird motif is reminiscent of Depression era jewelry. Specially cut pieces of turquoise, jet, black lip shell and mother-of-pearl are overlaid on a bed of shell that features an incised pueblo-inspired element in this reversible pendant. Turquoise beads represent watchful eyes. About 2 3/8" long including silver bale fixture, 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep. The silver snake chain is available and sold separately here.
