Vickie Quandelacy's reversible mother-of-pearl carving depicts a corn maiden and Grandmother. They have overlaid accents of pen shell and black lip shell. Corn maiden holds a water carrying jar called an 'olla'. It's filled with crushed turquoise to indicate water. This carving is inlaid with colorful bits of red coral, turquoise, lapis and pen shell. Vickie also incised a Dragonfly
element. Including jasper base, this gorgeous carving is about 3 1/4" tall, 2 3/8" long and 3/4" deep.
