Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's aunt Faye Quandelacy (d) was the first Zuni artist to carve Maidens, Mothers and Grandmothers as fetishes. Kateri's women figures are important representations of feminine strength and energy as she carries on in her family's carving legacy. Her latest offering is a wonderful reversible turquoise Grandmother and Corn-Maiden fetish pendant. Lapis lazuli and coral accents the pendant that's about 3" long including silver bale, 1 1/4" wide and 3/4" deep. Confident facial features are from jet paste. The nice silver snake chain is not included but is available and sold separately here.
